| This precious little guy was stolen from his owner's fenced backyard while they were not home in June of 2006. The thief opened the gate, walked in and took Tippy away from his brother/companion dog, Brownshoe, leaving Brownshoe terrified and confused. We have launched a Nation-wide search for him. Tippy is now 10 years old. Schnauzer mix male. Neutered. Last seen in Kimberly, Idaho wearing a blue collar with red embroidery. Kimberly Dog License and Current Rabies Tag. Tail curls over his back and has a white tip on it. The worst part of this case is that Tippy is a Companion/Therapy Dog for a handicapped man with Down's Syndrome. If you have ever seen the big heart of a small child break, you will understand our motivation in our continued search efforts. UPDATE JANUARY 2008 We are saddened to report that Tippy will not be coming home to his family. Due to the heinous brutality of this case, please read, remember and pass the following message along to everyone you know. A message to all responsible pet owners: Please do not leave your cats and dogs unattended or unsupervised. If you must leave them at home outside while you are away, make certain the kennel or your backyard gate is securely locked and your Security System is activated. There are people who intentionally steal pets to be used as bait in Dog Fighting and Laboratory Experiments. Furthermore, be aware that there are those sick individuals who would harm them to satisfy morbid curiosity. The absolute best place for your pet is safely inside the confines of your home. The world we live in is not a safe place anymore. |
