Little Sunshine! What a joy you are!
This shy, pretty girl has been adopted twice and was returned because the families
complained that she "had trouble adjusting." ??????? Further investigation showed
us the very valid reasons why. People, cats must be allowed to be cats. While
they adjust to their new surroundings, they do not change their personalities
for you. The first family was an Empty Nest couple with a wife who nit-picked
everything this poor baby did and locked her in the bathroom at night because she
was afraid Sunshine would 'get into something'. The second family had two small
children and the house was loud, noisy and busy. The family failed to provide
Sunshine with a quiet place of her own to escape the hubbub and she would cringe in
terror under the sofa. Now in a quiet, cat-friendly Foster Home, Sunshine is calm and
thriving, a true joy to all who meet her.
