HI! I'M RASCAL!
I will run to bring you a toy or a stick or a leaf or whatever I can find when
you come to visit me because I love people and I love to sing!!!
Rascal was found wandering all alone on a rural road when he was a tiny puppy
only about 9 weeks old. Sure to be road-kill, a kind person stopped and picked
him up. He seemed to be a normal, healthy, happy puppy. After his neuter
surgery, however, he gained an alarming amount of weight while maintaining a
normal diet. Blood tests showed a Hypo-Active Thyroid and his Cholesterol levels
were off the charts. He was a walking heart attack. Rascal is responding well to
medication and a special diet, but will have to remain on the medication for the
rest of his life.
